Grad Vukovar kao organizator i glavni pokrovitelj i Hrvatska radiotelevizija potpisali su ugovor o suradnji kojim HRT postaje službeni partner i nositelj televizijskog prijenosa svečanog otvorenja 20. Vukovar Film Festivala, koje će se održati 2. rujna 2026. godine u 21 sat.

Suradnja s Hrvatskom radiotelevizijom predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih elemenata medijske strategije jubilarnog izdanja festivala. Kao nacionalni javni servis, HRT će omogućiti da svečanost otvorenja i najvažniji festivalski trenuci budu dostupni gledateljima diljem Hrvatske, dodatno potvrđujući status Vukovar Film Festivala kao jednog od najznačajnijih filmskih događanja u zemlji.

U godini kada festival obilježava dva desetljeća postojanja, televizijska prisutnost na HRT-u ima posebno značenje. Jubilej će tako dobiti nacionalnu vidljivost, a priča o Vukovaru kao gradu filma i festivala dosegnut će još širu publiku.

CITY OF VUKOVAR AND HRT SIGN AGREEMENT ON LIVE BROADCAST OF THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 20TH VUKOVAR FILM FESTIVAL

HRT becomes the key national media partner of the festival's anniversary edition

The City of Vukovar, as the organiser and main patron of the festival, and the Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) have signed a cooperation agreement under which HRT will become the official partner and broadcaster of the live television coverage of the opening ceremony of the 20th Vukovar Film Festival, which will take place on 2 September 2026 at 9:00 PM.

The partnership with Croatian Radiotelevision represents one of the most important elements of the media strategy for this landmark anniversary edition of the festival. As the national public broadcaster, HRT will ensure that the opening ceremony and the festival's most significant moments are available to audiences throughout Croatia, further confirming the status of the Vukovar Film Festival as one of the country's most important film events.

In the year in which the festival celebrates two decades of existence, television coverage on HRT carries special significance. The anniversary edition will gain national visibility, while the story of Vukovar as a city of film and festivals will reach an even wider audience.

The opening ceremony of the 20th Vukovar Film Festival will be produced as a major televised event with a live broadcast on HRT.
